Anthropic Launches Claude Code Security: AI That Hunts Vulnerabilities Like a Human Researcher

Anthropic has launched Claude Code Security, an autonomous vulnerability-hunting capability that extends its AI coding assistant into full-scale security analysis. Available as a limited research preview for Enterprise and Team customers starting February 20, 2026, the tool represents a significant shift in how organizations can approach application security.

What Makes It Different

Unlike traditional static analysis tools that rely on pattern matching and known vulnerability signatures, Claude Code Security reasons about codebases the way a human security researcher would.
