How an impression and a click are counted
One impression is one render of the slot on a page. One click is one reader following it out. Both are recorded by our own server and totalled per day per placement, and nothing about the reader is stored. You are billed on impressions; clicks are yours to see, and you can ask for either at any time — they are the same numbers we look at.
Who can buy a slot
The slots stay useful only if what appears in them is something a reader here might actually want. So the list is short and it is the whole policy:
- Developer and technical tools
- SaaS a small team would pay for
- Services for builders — agencies, hosting, accounting for software businesses
- Events and communities a reader could attend
What we will not do
No pop-ups, no interstitials, no third-party trackers, and nothing that sits between a reader and the thing they came for. The slots are small on purpose and they will stay that way.
How to get started
Write to us with your link, which slot you want and roughly what you would like to spend a month. If it fits the list above we will send a rate and a start date. If it does not, we will say so rather than take the money.
