How the tool works
Four steps, with no account and nothing to install.
Write the questions
Multiple choice, true or false or short answer, each with its own points. Your draft is kept in your browser as you type.
Create the link and send it
One click gives you a link to post in the class WhatsApp group. A student opens it on a phone, with no sign-up.
The student sees the score at once
The exam is marked on submit, and a short answer is accepted whatever the case, the accents or the decimal comma.
Print the paper version
The same questions as a laid-out paper, and a separate answer key for you.
Who it is for
- A teacher who wants a short test at the end of a lesson without setting up a platform
- A training centre testing trainees before and after a course
- A private tutor sending marked homework to a WhatsApp group
- A school that needs a paper version and an online version of the same test
- A company trainer checking what the team kept from a session
Common questions
Is it really free? Do I need an account?
Free, with no account and no limit on the number of exams. We ask for no email and no phone number, from you or from your students.
How do I get my students’ results?
A student sees the score on submit, then sends it to you on WhatsApp in one tap. Results are not gathered into a table, because the tool stores nothing on our servers. A record per student with every attempt is what the Minbar platform does.
Where is the exam stored? Can a student see the answers?
The whole exam is inside the link itself, compressed, and is sent to no server. That means the answers travel with the questions: an ordinary student does not see them, but a technically able one can extract them. The tool suits short tests and practice, not high-stakes exams.
How is it different from Google Forms?
There is no account and no settings here: you write and you get the link. And the same questions give you a printable paper with its answer key. On the other hand, Google Forms gathers the answers in a sheet, and this tool does not.
Can I set a time limit?
Yes. Enter the minutes and the student sees a countdown, with answers submitted when time runs out. Reloading the page does not restart the clock.
Does it support maths equations?
Not inside questions for now. For the printed paper you can prepare the equation as an image with our free equation tool. An exam where the student types an equation and it is marked automatically, with 1/2 and 0.5 accepted as one answer, is a Minbar feature.
The tool for today’s test. Minbar for your whole course platform.
Minbar installs on your domain, under your name: an account per student, a quiz marked at once after each chapter, and every attempt recorded on your side. Paid once, with no commission.
