Noqta launches Minbar: a course platform the instructor owns, with no commission

Tunisian company Noqta has launched Minbar, a course platform installed under the instructor's own name and domain rather than listed on a marketplace. Paid once — $299 for the source code or $499 with a year of hosting and a domain — and no cut of what the instructor earns.

Noqta has announced Minbar, a course platform for Arabic-speaking instructors. Each instructor gets an independent instance under their own name and domain, instead of listing courses on a marketplace that takes a share of every session.

The idea

The product rests on a simple observation: an instructor who builds their own audience on TikTok or YouTube and then sends that audience to an intermediary is paying a commission on students they brought themselves. And as their income grows, the commission grows in exact proportion.

Minbar is paid once. No per-session percentage, no per-student fee, and the student list stays in the instructor's own database.

What it includes

  • A full curriculum: course → chapter → lesson, with Markdown content and video from YouTube, Vimeo or Bunny.
  • Quizzes after each chapter and practice units that track a student's progress.
  • Configurable free chapters, with the rest reserved for PRO members.
  • An Arabic, right-to-left interface, suited to languages, Islamic sciences and professional skills alike.
  • Single-tenant: a separate database and domain per instructor.
